1 thought on “What’s coming to the Pavillion”

  1. Is it pavilion or pavillion?

My spell checker underlines the double L version in red.

The Oxford English Dictionary says the alternative spelling of pavilion is now obsolete, except in the names of theatres, hotels, etc and marks the spelling of pavillion as nonstandard.

But I reckon, in the case of the Strathpeffer Spa Pavillion, the double L is just fine.
