We don’t often see a warning specifically for our part of the world from the Met Office, but one has been issued tonight from 2000 until 0800 on Saturday morning. A strong north easterly wind will funnel heavy rain into the inner Moray Firth overnight, and as the road team for Ward 5 still hasn’t got it’s six weeks loan of the only gully sucker Highland Council seem to have, many drains through the strath remain blocked, so beware of the possibility of impacts from any local flooding.
The Met Office got this one wrong only 10.8 mm of rain here overnight.🤨
