There was some heavy rain earlier this morning in the Strath. I measured 27.8 mm (1.09 inches) since midnight, and 36.4 mm (1.43 inches) since 18 UTC yesterday. Thankfully the rain rate didn’t stay above 20 mm/hr for too long. The weather yesterday was very oppressive and temperatures peaked at 27.1°C in the afternoon, but the cold front that brought all the rain has now cleared through, and today should be cooler and fresher. I’m afraid that the next ten days look decidedly cool and unsettled in our part of the world.
Set out a bit later and managed to reach the summit of GULVAIN. Nice bike ride in before ascent 👍🏻😎
