Record warm June

It’s been the warmest June since at least 1884 in the north of Scotland by a massive 1.2°C😲 The mean temperature for the month was a full three degrees above the long term average. It’s still hard to believe just how warm June 2023 was particularly so it’s now home to us. It was the warmest in at least 140 years by a very big margin but I’ll let you decide if you think it’s the product of global warming, or that and a bit of natural variability thrown in. if you’re interested, here’s a weather summary for the whole of the UK to see how we faired when compared to other regions.
