Anyone for croquet?

Croquet has been called snooker on grass. It was very popular in Victorian times – nearly every hotel in Strathpeffer had a croquet lawn. It has been called a vicious game, as you don’t just aim to get your balls through the hoops but to prevent your opponent from so doing. It’s a very tactical game and very satisfying. It can be played at all levels at any age.  The Wyvis Croquet club played at the Ben Wyvis Hotel and are looking to revive play there. Anyone interested, please contact 01997 423209 (we need to gauge interest) and/or keep an eye out for an Open Day.
