A lovely sunset, followed by an aurora and the Lyrid meteor shower

Well you can but hope✌. But there is a growing chance of seeing the northern lights over the coming few nights, especially Thursday night. Aurora may be visible where skies remain clear across Scotland, as well as potentially as far south as Northern Ireland, north Wales, northern and central England

The annual Lyrid meteor shower takes place through the rest of this month. This year it will peak during the early hours of the 23rd, with the greatest number of meteors falling during the few hours before dawn. With no moon, you might be able to see 10-20 meteors per hour!
