Strathpeffer Highland Games this Saturday

The Strathpeffer Highland Games takes place this coming Saturday the 6th of August at Castle Leod. These will be the first games since 2018, for the last three years the games have been cancelled, the one in 2019 by flooding and the ones in 2020 and 2021 by the COVID epidemic. The official opening by the Earl of Cromartie us at 2pm. The forecast for Saturday still looks cloudy and breezy with some rain at times in other words – normal for Scotland and don’t forget to take your Smidge with you.

  • The Games are on between 11am and 5pm
  • Entry is £8 for adults
  • £4 for concessions
  • Parking is £2
  • Local events start at 10.30am, the hill race is at 12pm and open events from 1pm
  • Dogs allowed on leads
